Realizing the need for a solution to the hundreds of spec scripts left unread in production company and studio offices citywide, Chadwick envisioned a "matchmaking" service between the up-and-coming writer and the industry to better serve both parties. For the writer, their material could be reviewed by an impartial third party, while the busy executive could receive quality projects via a much-needed filter. In 2000, Script P.I.M.P. (Pipeline Into Motion Pictures) was formed, and has since offered coverage services, annual writing competitions, and the Writers Database, a composite directory of production companies, agencies, and managers looking for new material. The company later changed its name to "Script Pipeline" in 2010. Chadwick has not only been instrumental in linking writers with proper representation and
production contacts, including Robert Nelms on the film Between (2005), but played a vital role in the funding
of two independent features, The Living Wake (2007), which garnered Script Beyond running Script Pipeline, Chadwick wrote Creative Screenwriting's "Production Spotlight" article for six years. He has led seminars at the Screenwriting Expo in Los Angeles, lectured on screenwriting and entrepreneurship at the
University of Southern California and UCLA, acted as a USC mentor, and has taken part in the Big Brothers LA mentorship program for
the past eight years. Over the past decade, Chadwick's goal has remained the same: to assist the budding writer with an array of resources on how to improve their craft and give those deserving of a chance the exposure they need in a highly competitive marketplace.
